Field service engineer – A Junior position

Diptech Machinery International Customer Service team of trained professionals provides field service support such as installations, upgrades, repairs, and maintenance of complex digital printing machines in the glass industry. Each Field Service Engineer is an independent individual who is able to manage own tasks from A to Z.

Responsibilities:

·  Leading installations

·  Perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.

·  Train new customers on operations and maintenance.

·  Provide remote support and troubleshooting (including when needed; weekends and holidays).

·  Accurate documentation of all given support onsite and remote in designated system.

·  Identify customer requests or complaints, escalate issues if necessary to solve critical tasks in the fastest way possible.

·  Proactively share experience, knowledge and skills to peers and help to build an organization with strong professionalism. Coach and mentor new hires as needed.

·  Developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers.

·  Providing strategic and competitive customer feedback to marketing and product teams.

Work Environment:

·  Full time jobs require up to above 50% travel per calendar year throughout the world.

·  Working in factories adhering to safety rules, with electrical, mechanical components as well as inks and solvent.

Skills and Experience

·  Bachelor’s or practical engineering (Handesai) degree in mechatronics, mechanical or electronics experience servicing multidisciplinary capital equipment advantage.

·  Open for university students graduate.

·  Exposure to the glass or digital printing industry is an advantage.

·  Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.

·  Valid Driver's License.

·  Ability to be available after-hours for on-call schedule, including weekends.

·  Proficient computer skills in Microsoft office, Knowledge in Illustrator and Photoshop a plus.

·  Good English skills, both verbal and written. Additional languages is an advantage.
