Professional Services Engineer

Role Summary

As a Professional Services Engineer, you will own the delivery of a cutting-edge cybersecurity platform into customer environments. This role blends technical deployment, customer engagement, and field feedback into one high-impact position. You will lead hands-on installations, custom integrations, and enterprise readiness — all while representing operational and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute installations of the platform in customer environments (on-prem and cloud).
• Collaborate with customer security and IT teams to design tailored deployment plans.
• Ensure deployments meet technical, operational, and security standards.
• Troubleshoot complex deployment issues and escalate when necessary.
• Assist in the creation of technical implementation guides and documentation.
• Provide technical enablement to customers and internal staff.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal R&D teams.
• Feed deployment insights into product development and customer success processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with cybersecurity products or infrastructure deployments.
• Proven expertise with firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco).
• Strong scripting or automation background (Python, Bash, etc.) is a plus.
• Familiarity with enterprise network topologies and cloud environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills.
• Able to manage multiple deployments and priorities simultaneously.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Professional Services at a cybersecurity startup or MSSP.
• Security certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, Palo Alto PCNSE, or similar).
• Experience with customer onboarding platforms or ticketing systems.
