A leading company’s research team is looking for a versatile and experienced Software Engineer with deep expertise in automation and testing of cloud-native distributed systems.

Haifa | Full-time | Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop tools and infrastructure for testing large-scale distributed cloud systems (50+ VMs)
• Write and execute automated tests (unit, integration, system, performance)
• Manage test execution within complex CI/CD pipelines
• Perform end-to-end system testing, validation and data analysis
• Deploy, manage and troubleshoot virtual machines and containers in the cloud
• Collaborate closely with developers, system engineers and DevOps to ensure system reliability and performance

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or B.A. in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 2–3 years of hands-on software development experience (5 years preferred)
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Go, Java, C++, or C#
• Proven experience testing and deploying cloud-based distributed systems
• Hands-on experience deploying applications on Kubernetes and managing distributed environments with 40–50+ VMs
• Knowledge in deploying and managing middleware on large-scale infrastructure
• Background with blockchain-based infrastructure – an advantage
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or others
• Strong scripting skills in Linux shell and familiarity with Linux system administration
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions
• Experience with RedHat Ansible or similar automation tools – a plus
• Ability to write, debug, and maintain test code across multiple layers of a complex system
