About the Role:

We’re looking for a hands-on QA Engineer to join our team and take full ownership of testing and testing automation of libraries we develop. This is a unique opportunity to build the QA foundation for our product libraries from scratch — including defining tools, frameworks, test strategies, automation and procedures.

You will collaborate closely with the development team to ensure quality, reliability, and robustness of reusable components and integration logic that power our platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive testing strategy for library components (unit, integration, regression).
• Define and set up automated test frameworks and tools (e.g. JUnit/TestNG, Selenium, Postman, etc.).
• Create and manage test plans and test cases for both backend and integration testing.
• Establish QA processes and best practices for the team.
• Work closely with developers to understand use cases, edge cases, and business logic.
• Own defect management: identify, track, and report bugs with clear documentation.
• Assist in setting up CI pipelines for automated testing.
• Continuously improve test coverage and efficiency.
  
  

• 3+ years of experience in QA/testing, preferably with backend systems, libraries, or data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages (e.g. Java, Bash).
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman, SoapUI, REST-assured).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Experience designing test plans and writing test documentation.
• Self-driven and comfortable owning QA strategy in a small, fast-moving team.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
  
  

• Familiarity with data-intensive platforms, integration tools, or test data management.
• Knowledge in Workday
• Exposure to version control, code reviews, and Agile/Scrum practices.
