Software Architect

A global product company specializing in the development of AI-based maritime management systems (large-scale, complex information systems for the shipping industry).
The role reports directly to the CTO and includes hands-on development in Node.js.
High-level English is required, as the first interview is conducted in English with HR.
The company is located in Tel Aviv near a train line and offers a hybrid work model with three days from home.
Requirements-
- 10 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend or full-stack development.
- 5 years leading system-level design and architecture for complete web-based solutions or major subsystems.
- 3 years of hands-on experience as a designer or architect of large-scale, high-performance distributed systems.
- 7 years of development and code-level design experience using Node.js, C#, or Java.
- 2 years of experience working with relational databases.
- Proven, practical experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Strong background in software quality methodologies and test-driven development.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills.
- Strong attention to detail and advanced problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently within a collaborative, cross-functional team.
- Proficient in both verbal and written English communication.
