Roles & Responsibilities:
In this role, you will take end-to-end responsibility for leading the Solaredge SAAS system architect team responsible for the Solaredge cloud software system architectures. You will work closely with the SW R&D managers and Product teams to define the architecture (System, APIs, technologies, and more) for our existing and future SW suite.
Who are you?
- B.Sc degree in Computer Science, Software- a must.
- 10+ years as a Software Engineer.
- 5+ years as a Software Architect responsible for enterprise-grade backend systems.
- 2+ years as a Chief Architect or Lead Architect- an advantage
- Experienced in supervising the design and implementation of complex, highly distributed systems.
- An engineer at the core, capable of planning and leading the adoption of new technologies from the POC stage to production.
- Fluent in applying the different architectural approaches around application and data processing.
- Feels comfortable stepping in and writing the actual code when required.

- A systems perspective that connects business needs with architectural solutions \ a systems-level perspective that includes understanding business needs and refining them into architectural actions.
- Capable of establishing and orchestrating architecture definition and review processes.
- Proven track of leading and mentoring other architects and engineers.
- Able to consider the impact on developer experience and development life cycle when making decisions.
- Highly experienced in the following technology stacks: Spring Boot, Kafka, Kafka Streams, Airflow, Relational and Non-Relational data stores and their cloud equivalents.
- Deep understanding of IoT and Data Processing at scale.
- Advantage- knowledge in physics and electronics.
- An analytic approach to problem solving, creative thinking.
- A quick learner, highly energetic, team player.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
