About the position:
Lumen’s People team is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager & Employee Experience to join our HR team and lead all aspects of office operations and employee-facing experiences.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring a functional, well-managed, and welcoming office environment, while also supporting onboarding processes and driving initiatives that foster engagement, connection, and wellbeing across the organization. You’ll work closely with HR, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to help shape a workplace where people can thrive.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and well-maintained work environment
- Handle relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers
- Lead the logistical side of onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure consistent and professional experiences for all employees
- Plan and execute internal events, team-building activities, and wellness programs
- Support company-wide employee experience initiatives in collaboration with the HR team
- Maintain a strong connection to the company’s values, helping promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture
- Contribute to internal communication efforts, including organizing all-hands, celebrations, and announcements
- Take part in cross-functional projects that support Lumen’s culture and employee engagement strategy
What we’re looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in office management, employee experience, or HR operations roles
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of fluency in English (written and spoken)
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment – a plus
