Your Impact at MyEdSpace

As a Tech Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in one of our product squads. This is a hands-on position involving leadership, mentoring, delivery, and deep collaboration with product managers and designers. Our stack is PHP (backend) and React.js (frontend), and we follow agile principles with a bias for shipping iteratively.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead & Mentor a global team of multi-talented engineers fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
• Drive engineering best practices including CI/CD, testing, and code quality
• Encourage a DevOps mindset own what you build, from idea to production
• Architect & Deliver high-quality features iteratively with a focus on user impact.
• Collaborate with AI specialists to power adaptive, personalized learning.
• Partner Cross-Functionally: Align closely with product and design on goals and execution.
• Help continuously improve our team’s performance, workflow, and technical excellence

What We’re Looking For

• Senior-level engineering experience in fast-moving, high-change environments
• Backend expertise (ideally PHP), with some exposure to React.js
• Strong grasp of software architecture - API-first, async communication, modular design
• Solid grounding in Agile and Lean practices (Kanban, Kaizen, etc.)
• Comfortable with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and Docker-based environments
• Proven track record of building user-centric, polished products
• Clear, effective communicator with strong English skills
• Enthusiastic about the potential of AI and LLMs in education
• A maker’s mindset - entrepreneurial, iterative, and delivery-focused
• Bonus: Familiarity with UK or US education systems
