Controller (Public Company) – Caesarea
Innovative Israeli Startup from Caesarea is Changing the Future of Health!
We are a publicly traded company seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Controller to join our Finance team, reporting directly to the CFO. This is a key role with wide responsibility and exposure across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Preparation of quarterly financial statements, from trial balance to full financial reports.
· Working closely with external auditors for audit and review processes, as well as with the internal auditor.
· Monthly budget control: monitoring and analyzing budget vs. actuals, managing ongoing expenses and budget performance.
· Oversight and control of the company’s payroll process.
· Supervision, guidance, and management of the bookkeeping team, including providing professional support and streamlining financial processes.
· Developing a financial infrastructure for commercial inventory estimation; later managing accounting aspects of inventory and monthly inventory reporting.
· Preparation and submission of tax returns.
· Coordination of company insurance matters.
· Managing both internal and external work interfaces.
· Performing ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
· CPA (Israel), Big 4 alumni preferred.
· 2–3 years of experience as a Controller, preferably in a public company.
· Proven experience with financial reporting under IFRS – mandatory.
· Experience working with inventory – an advantage.
· Advanced Excel skills – required.
· Experience with Priority ERP – an advantage.
· High level of English – required.
· Strong accounting knowledge, analytical thinking, creativity, and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
· High attention to detail, ability to manage tasks independently, dedication, and motivation.
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
· Work is on-site only from our Caesarea office.
