Controller

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Controller to lead the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This role will report directly to our US-based CFO and will play a critical part in strategic financial decision-making in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of periodic and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, including both solo and consolidated reports.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and budget control processes, including the preparation of budget performance reports and variance analysis.
• Manage and supervise the accounting team including payroll, bookkeeping, treasury, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with all tax requirements, including tax planning and preparation of tax reports.
• Maintain and improve internal controls, ensuring compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) requirements.
• Collaborate closely with senior management to support the company’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent certification with Big 4 experience (mandatory).
• 2–3 years of experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller in a public or high-growth company.
• Strong experience in financial reporting under IFRS, including solo and consolidated financial statements.
• Proven track record in SOX compliance and implementation.
• Background in science or technology-based companies – an advantage.
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Results-driven with a commitment to excellence and intellectual curiosity.
