Role Overview

As the Frontend Engineer at XG University, you will play a critical role in building the user-facing experience of our AI-powered educational platform. You’ll develop elegant, fast, and intuitive interfaces that enable students to engage deeply with personalized, university-level learning.

Working with a modern React-based tech stack, you’ll bring designs to life, implement seamless user experiences, and help shape the next generation of interactive, AI-integrated education. Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development

• Build and maintain Next.js pages and components
• Implement responsive and accessible UI designs
• Create reusable component libraries
• Optimize application performance

User Experience

• Design and implement intuitive user interfaces
• Ensure smooth navigation and transitions
• Implement proper loading states and error handling
• Create engaging learning experiences

Testing & Quality

• Write unit tests for components
• Implement integration tests
• Perform E2E testing
• Maintain test coverage standards

AI Feature Integration

• Build AI chat interfaces
• Implement video player integrations
• Handle real-time updates and state management
• Optimize AI feature performance

Code Quality

• Write clean, maintainable code
• Follow React and TypeScript best practices
• Document components and features
• Review and mentor other developers

Preferred Abilities

-5+ years of experience in frontend development

-Proficiency in React, Next.js (App Router), TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS

-Familiarity with monorepo workflows and scalable frontend architecture

-Experience building educational platforms or user-centered digital tools

-Exposure to AI/ML integrations and real-time interfaces (preferred)

-Strong understanding of state management and performance optimization

-Proficiency in English

-Solid foundation in testing methodologies and frameworks
