Phytech is a leading provider of real-time plant-based agronomic insights and automation solutions for specialty crop growers worldwide. Our platform combines IoT sensors, remote sensing, and operational data to help farmers make better decisions.

Position Summary

We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data Team and work closely with our Operations Team to support data-driven decision-making across the company.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust, scalable ETLs to support the Phytech data lakehouse, using Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Analyze operational datasets to uncover trends, identify inefficiencies, and drive improvements.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and support decision-making for internal teams.

Tech Stack

• Databricks / Spark, PostgreSQL, Python, Git
• Power BI, Plotly, or other BI tools

Minimum Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a Data Analyst role working with large datasets
• Proficient in SQL and Python, with experience using Spark or Databricks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred

• Focus on operational data
• Experience working in or with agriculture, manufacturing, logistics, or other operations-heavy industries
• Background in BI data modeling
