.NET Developer

A rapidly growing Gaming startup that developed a mobile gaming platform with tens of thousands of downloads and hundreds of thousands of daily active users. The company specializes in immersive gaming experiences, creating a strong sense of presence for the player. It ranks third in the U.S. for mobile game downloads and daily active users, with user growth doubling every few months.

Having completed several significant funding rounds, the company is headquartered in Tel Aviv near a train line, operates in a hybrid model (including work-from-home), and employs 80 people half of whom are in R&D.

The role:

Join the Backend team to develop core server-side logic (around 80% of the role), with the remaining time focused on working with algorithms—development, optimization, and improvements. The tech stack includes AWS, MongoDB, .NET Core, and C#. Reports directly to the Team Lead.

Responsibilities:

• Your job will include a combination of classic backend and algorithm development.

• Developing and maintaining server Api’s and performance.

• Encounter challenging mathematical / statistical problems as well as concurrency performance issues that arise from implementing complex systems.

• Handle Database and query optimization on a large amount of data.

Requirements

• Expertise in algorithm design, concurrency, parallel processing, and solving complex computational problems.

• Proven experience in backend development with a strong understanding of server-side technologies (C# and Python)

• Solid understanding of databases (MongoDB,Redis), and experience with database optimization

• Strong mathematical and statistical problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
