Software Engineering Team Lead

A log analytics startup is developing an Observability platform designed to provide customers with powerful tools for their Production environments. The platform enhances visibility across various tools, facilitates data accessibility, enables investigations, integrates ML-based algorithms, and includes a sophisticated alerting mechanism for predicting critical incidents.

The company operates at high scale, monitoring over 3 million events per second. With over 2,000 paying customers, including well-known global enterprises, they are a fast-growing, well-funded company.

Headquartered in central Israel, near a train station, they operate a hybrid model with two remote workdays per week.

The company has 450 employees worldwide, including 190 in Israel, and has raised $240 million in a Series D funding round. They have five global offices in London, the U.S., India, and Israel.

Role Overview:

• Lead a team of 3-5 Full-Stack developers, reporting to a Group Manager.
• 50% hands-on development, working with a 50/50 Full-Stack split between Frontend and Backend.
• Tech Stack: Angular 18, NodeJS, TypeScript, Scala, Kafka, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, AWS.

Requirements:

• 1 years of experience as a Tech Lead or in a leadership role – mandatory (only strong Tech Leads will be considered).
• 5 years of experience in Full-Stack development – mandatory.
• 3 years of experience in NodeJS – mandatory.
• Experience with TypeScript – mandatory.
• 2 years of experience with Angular 2+ – mandatory.
• Experience working with Cloud environments – mandatory.
• Experience with Kubernetes – an advantage.
