Website Monetization Team Leader | Modiin | Full-time, In-office

About the Role

This hands-on and strategic role combines deep technical work with publisher relationship management and demand-side optimization.

🔹 Technical Execution – Analyze data in Google Ad Manager (GAM), set pricing rules, optimize Header Bidding, and implement new ad formats.

🔹 Commercial Strategy – Work directly with publishers, identify growth opportunities, and lead upsell initiatives to maximize revenue.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Take full ownership of monetization strategy and execution for digital content publishers.

✔ Manage and lead a small team of monetization experts, setting strategies and ensuring effective implementation.

✔ Work directly with Google Ad Manager (GAM) – analyze auction dynamics, set pricing rules, and manage programmatic demand.

✔ Optimize ad layout and placements – plan and implement the ideal mix of Display, Video, and Native ads for mobile and desktop.

✔ Oversee and enhance the Header Bidding setup – integrate new demand sources and maximize yield.

✔ Analyze performance data and implementing data-driven optimizations to increase revenue.

✔ Collaborate with leading AdTech partners and publishers to refine ad strategies and maximize monetization potential.

Requirements

🔹 At least 2 years of hands-on experience in website monetization (not affiliate marketing or performance marketing).

🔹 Expertise in Google Ad Manager (GAM) – including auction dynamics, pricing rules, and demand-side optimization.

🔹 Strong commercial mindset – ability to identify revenue opportunities and lead upsell initiatives.

🔹 Hands-on experience with Header Bidding, ad placement strategies, and multi-format monetization.

🔹 Strong analytical skills – ability to make data-driven decisions and continuously improve performance.

🔹 Excellent communication skills in English – essential for working with global publishers and partners.

🔹 Proven leadership and execution ability – we need someone proactive who gets things done.

🔹 Experience managing small teams – a significant advantage.
