Head of Human Resources (Portfolio Company)

A fast-growing company in our portfolio is seeking a first HR leader to oversee their people and recruiting organization, create a strong company culture, and work with the executive team to shape strategy and growth.

In this role you will:

• Oversee people and HR functions in a fast-growing, globally distributed team
• Contribute hands-on to core People and Talent activities
• Develop and strengthen the company culture across multiple geographies
• Lay the groundwork for a wide range of HR processes as the company scales: L&D, Manager Development, Benefits Management, etc.
• Play an important role on the leadership team of the company, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the org

For this role, you must have experience in:

• Team management - both HR and recruitment functions
• Fast-growing startups which involved significant scaling, past at least 100 employees
• Global organizations with distributed teams
• Building infrastructure and processes from scratch
• Hands-on ownership of the full range of HR and recruiting tasks
• Contributing to high-level strategic, executive-level decision-making processes
