Job description

We’re looking for an experienced QA Engineer who is eager to take part in shaping the future of how we build insurance products at Lemonade. This is a great role for someone who’s passionate about technology, exceptional quality, and loves automation.

You’ll be instrumental in bringing platform features to the finish line while collaborating closely with developers, as well as with the Product and Operation teams—working towards the collective goal of delivering a seamless, joyful experience for our customers.

In this role you’ll

• Be part of an agile product team and develop test plans, Lead and engage developers in testing and automation
• Work closely during the sprint with engineers in order to deliver the most quality products
• Design and execute both manual and automated end-to-end regression and sanity tests, identifying gaps and deficiencies.
• Analyze, modify and expand the testing plans design to ensure scalability as additional features are incorporated
• Investigate product quality issues to uphold high-quality standards
• Collaborate with Product and other teams to manage documentation and ensure timely releases

What you’ll need

• Experienced QA Engineer with a minimum of 2 years in manual testing across multiple platforms for customer facing products.
• Experience with SQL - Must have
• Experience testing APIs, and creating / running automation tests for APIs, either by writing code or using tools like Postman, Loadmill and like. - Must have
• Experience in test automation frameworks for UI testing (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)  - Big advantage.
• Experience with working Agile methodologies.
• Design and execute end-to-end regression and sanity tests, identifying gaps and deficiencies
• Investigate product quality issues to uphold high-quality standards
• Collaborate with Product and other teams to manage documentation and ensure timely releases
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on the bigger picture
• Independent, fast learner with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew
