Validation Group Manager

As an Validation Group Manager in the automotive industry, you will lead and oversee the validation team, ensuring the reliability and performance of automotive systems and components. You will leverage your expertise in various validation methodologies, tools, and real-time online lab systems to drive excellence and innovation in our validation processes.

What will your job look like:

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of validation engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members.
• Validation Process Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and management of validation processes for automotive systems and components. Ensure validation activities are conducted in accordance with industry standards and best practices, focusing on quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Methodologies and Frameworks: Utilize the V model and other validation methodologies to structure and execute validation activities. Implement and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methods within the validation process.
• Tool Integration and Management: Manage the integration and use of tools such as Jenkins, JIRA, and other CI/CD systems in validation workflows. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python to streamline validation processes and improve efficiency.
• Real-Time Online Lab Systems: Oversee the setup, maintenance, and operation of real-time online lab systems used for validation. Ensure lab environments are equipped, configured, and functioning optimally for various validation activities.
• Project Management: Plan and manage validation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align validation activities with overall project goals and timelines.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and expertise to resolve validation issues and challenges. Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential problems in validation processes.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation for validation processes, test plans, and results. Generate detailed reports and presentations to communicate validation outcomes to stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve validation processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance quality and efficiency. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in validation technologies and practices.
  
  

• B.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus).
• At least 3+ years experience of validation management (Managing managers)- MUST
• Strong background in validation methodologies and tools.
• Expertise in the V model and CI/CD methodologies and systems.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Python, JIRA, Jenkins, and real-time online lab systems.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and mentoring technical teams.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting to streamline validation processes and improve system capabilities.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
