Software Engineering Manager (Hands-On, Mobile & Backend)

We are seeking a hands-on Software Engineering Manager to lead our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong mobile (Flutter, Swift, Java) and backend (Node.js, AWS Cloud) expertise, with a passion for building secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications. This role reports to the CEO.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using Flutter, Swift (iOS), and Java (Android).
• Architect and implement backend services with Node.js on AWS Cloud.
• Work closely with hardware, firmware and IoT teams to integrate smart car seat features.
• Ensure best practices in code quality, security, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high-impact solutions.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security across mobile and backend services.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.

Who You Are

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years in a technical leadership or engineering manager role.
• Proficiency in Flutter and knowledge in native mobile development (Swift, Java/Kotlin).
• Backend experience with Node.js and cloud services (AWS).
• Experience working with connected IoT devices and BLE technology is a must.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SQL (rational) databases.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to development.
