Doctoral Student

Our lab is focused on gaining insight into the mechanisms of actions of immunotherapy in cancer in general and specifically in lung cancer. Previous studies at our lab has identified B- and plasma cells as major contributors to the efficacy of checkpoint inhibitors for early NSCLC (ref below). Ongoing research is aiming to gain insights into the specific roles of B-cells and plasma cells, antibodies produced as part of the immune host response to cancer and its potential therapeutic role.

The lab is part of the Jusidman Cancer Center (@Sheba MC) and conducts translational research, aiming to bridge the bed-to-bench side gap, providing samples of treated cancer patients for research, and providing hope of better treatments to the patients.

We are looking for outstanding candidates to perform groundbreaking research in this area. The lab is affiliated with Tel-Aviv University. We have ongoing collaborations with TAU, Weizmann Institute of Science and Bar-Ilan University top researchers.
