Dev Team Lead - GenAi

We are AT&T’s GenAI group, a dynamic team revolutionizing the Software Development Life Cycle by harnessing the power of GenAI.

Our mission is to streamline the development process—making it faster, easier, and more efficient for all lifecycle participants.

As we continue to push the boundaries of what's possible, we’re looking for a Team Lead to manage a development team of 4–5 software engineers. In this role, you will guide the end-to-end delivery of production-grade GenAI solutions that bring measurable value to our customers, while ensuring high-quality standards in every step of the SDLC.

What You’ll Do

• Lead & Mentor: Manage a team of 4–5 developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster their technical and professional growth.
• Deliver Business Value: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer and product needs, translating them into actionable development roadmaps.
• Drive Product Rollout: Oversee the deployment of new features and enhancements to ensure a smooth rollout and tangible business impact.
• Adopt Best Practices: Champion industry best practices, including code reviews, testing, continuous integration, and delivery (CI/CD).
• Ownership & Accountability: Ensure end-to-end responsibility for the products you and your team develop—from design to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Innovate with GenAI: Leverage GenAI technologies (LangChain, AutoGen, and various AI models) to build cutting-edge solutions that redefine software delivery.
• Streamline SDLC: Continually look for ways to optimize and automate the development lifecycle, improving efficiency and speed.

What We’re Looking For

• Technical Excellence
• Proven experience (5+ years) in developing full-stack, production grade applications.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, or other AI model integrations).
• Ability to design, write, and review well-structured, testable, and efficient code.
• Deep familiarity with SDLC processes, coding standards, and delivery of production-grade software.
• Leadership & Management
• Proven experience leading a small to medium-sized development team.
• Strong mentorship and coaching skills, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Track record of successfully driving projects from concept to production, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Excellent communication skills to align stakeholders, product managers, and team members on project goals and deliverables.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• A results-driven mindset focused on delivering customer value and improving user experience.
