Software Engineer (JavaScript/TypeScript) - Contract (6 Months)

Full-time, 8-hour workday

Immediate start required

Contract duration: 6 months

Time Overlap: 5 hours with PST

Experience & Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in web engineering
• Essential Skills: 2+ years of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, and 2+ years with Node.js
  
  

• Write clean, readable, reusable, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Exhibit proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript, covering all aspects of the language
• Deliver well-structured, annotated, and organized code
• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
• Proven experience in building modular, scalable web applications with attention to readability, security, and stability (including testing)
• Strong grasp of JavaScript ES6 and expertise with either Node.js or React
• Nice to have: Background in software Quality Assurance and Test Planning
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
