C# Desktop Developer | Windows & Hardware Integration

A leading organization in Central Israel is looking for an experienced C# Desktop Developer to develop Windows-based desktop applications, software-hardware interfaces, and integrations with complex control systems and databases.

Important: A valid Level 1 security clearance is mandatory for this position. Candidates without an active Level 1 security clearance cannot proceed in the recruitment process.

This hands-on development role involves writing and maintaining C# code, analyzing system requirements, designing technical solutions, and taking ownership of software modules throughout the development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Develop Windows-based desktop applications
• Write, develop, and maintain C# code using Visual Studio
• Develop software-hardware interfaces and control systems
• Integrate software applications with hardware components and external devices
• Develop interfaces and integrations with databases
• Analyze requirements and contribute to system specifications and design
• Lead software development work packages and modules from design through implementation
• Work in complex technology environments involving multiple systems and interfaces

What We're Looking For

• Valid Level 1 security clearance – mandatory
• At least 2 years of professional experience developing Windows desktop applications
• At least 1 year of experience developing in C# using Visual Studio
• At least 1 year of experience developing software-hardware interfaces and control systems
• At least 1 year of experience developing database interfaces
• Ability to independently lead software development work packages and modules

Advantages

• Experience with Blazor or WPF using the MVVM architectural pattern
• Experience designing and developing complex systems with multiple interfaces
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Object-Oriented Design (OOD), and Design Patterns

Education & Professional Qualifications

Candidates must meet at least one of the following qualification paths:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Another bachelor's degree combined with at least 300 hours of coursework in computerized information systems
• A degree in another engineering discipline combined with at least 200 hours of software studies
• Practical engineering diploma in Computer Engineering or a relevant technology discipline
• At least 400 hours of advanced information systems coursework without an academic degree
• Relevant technical training and experience gained through a specialized military technology unit or an equivalent professional technical training path
