Warhead & Munitions Design Team Lead

The Engineering and Systems Department in the Missile and Space Systems Division is looking for a Team Lead for a group responsible for Warhead & Munitions Design.

What will you do:

• Managing a team of engineers.
• Overseeing projects in the field of explosives.
• Developing and monitoring work plans.
• Preparing budget estimates.

The Team’s Responsibilities-

• Designing and developing various types of warheads for IAI’s product portfolio.
• Performance calculations for warheads.
• Preparing manufacturing and assembly drawings.
• Writing technical specifications.
• Developing test plans.
• Supporting arena testing and trials.

What we're looking for:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering / Aerodynamics – mandatory.
• M.Sc. in Engineering – an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in warhead/explosives design – mandatory.
• Experience with CAD software – mandatory.
• Experience in warhead performance calculations – an advantage.
• Experience in analysis and simulations – an advantage.
• Experience in leading projects – an advantage.
• High-level English proficiency (spoken, written, and reading).
