Software Engineering Team Lead

A Cybersecurity company is developing cloud-based systems that enable secure and fast organizational communication. The company’s mission is to reduce IT complexities by consolidating organizational communication and security capabilities into a single cloud platform, enhancing security processes' efficiency and speed while lowering operational costs.

Their comprehensive organizational communication solution addresses enterprise needs, bridging the gap between the demands of digital businesses and the expensive, slow, and inflexible networks of traditional telecom providers all achieved through a Cloud-Native Carrier architecture.

The company is based in Tel Aviv, within walking distance of the train station, and operates a hybrid model with two work-from-home days. They employ around 900 people worldwide, approximately half of whom are based in Israel.

Role Details-

The role is part of a team launching a new product expected to be released by the end of the year. Responsibilities include managing one developer, with plans to recruit two additional developers in the future. The role involves 70-80% hands-on development. The team works with Java, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and the AWS cloud.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a Tech Lead\Team Lead with proven abilities in leading SaaS products to production.
• 7 years of backend development. We’re using Java, Go, Play framework, Spring boot, GQL, etc.
• Hands-on experience - MUST
• Excellent knowledge of NoSQL DBs and relational DBs. We’re using PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis and more.
• Familiar with AWS technologies
• Experience in building and operating SaaS microservices with high scale and load in production
• Experience testing services in continuous integration methodology
• BSc. degree in Computer Science from a known university or similar
