Training Manager

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Academy Manager to join our team. you will play a vital role in leading and supervising the training of future cybersecurity professionals. This position requires relocation to one of our Cyber Academies, where you will oversee training programs, mentor trainers, and personally instruct students to prepare them for careers in cybersecurity defense. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in shaping students into skilled blue team professionals who can safeguard organizations against evolving cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Management:

• Lead a team of trainers and ensure the delivery of high-quality training programs.
• Coordinate training schedules and manage resources to optimize learning outcomes.
• Foster a collaborative and motivating environment for both trainers and students.

2. Curriculum Development and Maintenance:

• Collaborate with the curriculum team to create, update, and refine blue team training materials.
• Ensure course content reflects the latest developments in cybersecurity threats, tools, and methodologies.

3. Instruction and Mentorship:

• Deliver training sessions, both in-person and virtual, covering topics such as threat detection, incident response, and network security.
• Provide one-on-one mentorship to trainers and students, sharing real-world insights and practical knowledge.

4. Hands-On Training Labs:

• Oversee the design and implementation of practical training labs simulating real-world cyber threats.
• Ensure labs are challenging, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.

5. Student Assessment and Feedback:

• Monitor and evaluate student progress through assessments, projects, and participation.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve and achieve their career goals.

6. Continuous Improvement and Research:

• Stay abreast of the latest trends and tools in cybersecurity to maintain cutting-edge training programs.
• Collaborate with industry experts to integrate innovative content and practices into the curriculum.

7. Certification Preparation:

• Guide students in preparing for industry-recognized certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certifications.
• Provide support and resources to enhance students’ success rates in exams.

Requirements:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, related field or hands on working experience.

Professional Experience:

• Proven experience as SOC analyst, incident responder, or security engineer.
• Demonstrated leadership or management experience in a training or operational environment.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in cybersecurity tools, such as SIEM platforms, endpoint protection systems, and threat intelligence tools.
• In-depth knowledge of network security, threat detection, and incident response practices.

Certifications:

• Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, GIAC) are highly preferred.

Additional Skills:

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience is a significant advantage.
• Experience in curriculum development is a bonus.
• Willingness to relocate for a minimum of 2 years.
