Data Analyst

A fast-growing Ad-tech startup in the Gaming field is seeking a talented Data Analyst to join the company's growing product team, and play a major role in our company’s success.

What you'll do:

• Business and product data analysis ownership - creating analysis based on ad-hoc requests and by initiating ideas for analyzing data to identify business and product needs and gaps.
• Analyze internal and external data sources to reach actionable recommendations for business and product decisions.
• Create real value from our huge amount of data and be able to communicate it to the various stakeholders - from the company’s management to our R&D, product, business and Sales teams.
• Manage prioritization of data requests and be able to “juggle” between multiple tasks - both urgent short-term tasks and ongoing major projects.
• Present the company’s performance to different internal teams and stakeholders. Be able to prepare insightful presentations to summarize our performance and understand the different metrics and goals of the company.
• Design and create BI dashboards (using the company’s chosen visualization tool - Qlik) to provide ongoing insights and visibility to our teams of the product and business performance.
• Work with a variety of relational and non-relational databases (Athena, Redshift, MySQL, MemSQL, and others).

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years experience as a data analyst - a must!
• Experience working in an ad-tech/mobile/gaming company or any equivalent in the online advertising industry. A basic understanding of ad-tech metrics, terminology and KPIs is - a must!
• Excellent SQL skills with experience in querying large, complex data sets – a must!
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel.
• Practical experience in data visualization via a BI tool - a major advantage. Orientation towards this capability and desire to learn is a must as this will be a part of this position.
• Methodological approach for data and ability to present data clearly and efficiently
• Ability to multitask
• Highly independent person, with ability to work as a single function of data analysis
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues from different teams and work closely with both technical teams and business teams.
• Knowledge and experience with Qlik BI tool - a plus
• Knowledge of Python (or similar languages) for data manipulation & analysis - a plus
