As a Remote Financial Editor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial content strategy, ensuring quality, and engaging our audience through multiple channels. Your expertise in trading, technical analysis, and content management will help drive our success across European and US trading sessions.

Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning and Analysis

• Help plan writing strategies that align with market trends and audience needs.
• Conduct competitor research to identify gaps and opportunities for content development.
• Apply strong macroeconomic and technical analysis knowledge to create actionable insights and ensure comprehensive content coverage.
• Analyze market trends and data to inform content strategy and improve audience engagement.

2. Content Editing

• Edit financial articles for accuracy, clarity, and SEO optimization during European and US trading sessions.
• Enforce editorial guidelines and maintain high-quality standards.

3. Writer Development

• Train and mentor writers, providing constructive feedback to improve performance.
• Assist in recruiting and onboarding new writing staff.

4. Content Creation Support

• Create technical analysis charts and cover images using generative AI tools to support the writing team.

5. Social Media Management

• Post content on Twitter and manage community engagement during your shift.
• Optimize and analyze social media strategies to enhance reach and engagement.

Qualifications

• Trading and Technical Analysis Expertise: In-depth understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and technical analysis.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze market and competitor trends to inform content strategy.
• Exceptional English: Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• SEO and WordPress Proficiency: Experience with SEO best practices and managing WordPress-based platforms.
• Social Media Savvy: Proficiency in managing social media platforms, particularly Twitter, to grow and engage audiences.
• Practical Experience: Background as a trader or in a senior editorial role within financial media is highly advantageous.
• Attention to Detail: Strong editing and proofreading skills with a focus on accuracy and quality.
