Description:

As a Data Analyst at Tagado you will be a part of our data analytics, annotation and operations team. The team prepares labeled datasets for training AI/ML models to analyze textual data, conducts product and customer analytics, and prepares reports for stakeholders. The position includes tasks from the fields of data annotation, data QA, product analytics, customer analytics, and data visualization.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing data sets for training AI/ML models - reviewing, classifying and tagging diverse text data sets according to established guidelines and standards
• Providing data quality assurance
• Finding patterns and trends in the textual data, generating actionable insights and reports
• Analyzing user behavior in analytics tools such as Mixpanel and Fullstory

Requirements:

• Fluent English
• Bachelor’s degree in Humanities (especially Linguistics and Literature), Social Sciences, or Education
• Past experience in data annotation, data operations, or analytics
• Ability to read and analyze large amounts of textual information
• A methodical approach to tasks with attention to details - you'll need the ability to stay focused on large amounts of data for long periods of time without compromising on quality
• Strong time management and load balancing skills
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to think "out-of-the box"
• Ability to work independently
• Curiosity and willingness to constantly learn new things
• Technical savviness, desire to learn new technologies and tools

Nice to have:

• Past experience preparing textual datasets for ML models
• Familiarity with BI and user analytics tools
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools
• Data visualization skills
• Experience with SQL and noSQL databases
