Quality Assurance Engineer

A successful American startup is developing a platform for the digital issuance and management of securities based on blockchain technology. The platform offers organizations an alternative to traditional stock exchanges, enabling capital raising and financial operations such as issuing shares, distributing dividends, and more, in a more liquid, flexible, and efficient manner.

The company is located in Tel Aviv, near a train line, and operates a hybrid model with two days per week from home. It has a global team of 160 employees with offices worldwide, including 10 employees in Israel.

Responsibilities-

• A major part in the quality assurance processes throughout all phases while meeting schedules, working closely with remote R&D sites, meeting quality objectives and project goals including:
• Ownership on developing/maintaining the Automation project under the team's domain.
• Write & Execute Manual and Automated tests.
• Develop and evolve the automation infrastructure.
• Review test cases and test plans.
• Work closely with remote/locale QA members
• Reporting bugs in line with project requirements
• In depth product analysis providing suggestions for product improvements

Requirements-

• 4 years’ experience as a testing engineer in Web environments - a must
• Strong manual and automation testing skills - a must
• Experience in automation development (preferred Selenium + Java) - a must
• Experience in both Client & Server-side testing – a must.
• Experience with issue-tracking software and test management systems, preferably JIRA.
• Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude and a deep sense of responsibility.
• Experience in working with QA peers across the organization
• Self-starter with 'whatever it takes' attitude in a dynamic work environment.
