Organizational Development Manager (relocation to Malta)

The Organizational Development (OD) Manager will develop and implement the company's OD strategy at the group level, enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee development, and aligning the company’s culture with it’s strategic goals. This role includes designing, implementing and managing OD initiatives, while overseeing training programs and internal communications to support growth and transformation.

The position is based in picturesque, sunny Malta, and comes with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Build, design and deliver OD strategies, initiatives, processes, programs and action plans such as Managerial Development, Key Talent, Performance Management, culture building, Feedback Process, Employee Engagement and OKRs methodology implementation, which foster a high- performance culture and are based on group’s vision & values.
• Identify needs and build programs accordingly, such as: units’ leadership, team building and change management. Assist in the development of career growth programs, mentorship and development opportunities for all levels of employees.
• Oversee the Organisational Development budget.
• Work collaboratively with multiple interfaces on the creation of development programs and content. Partner with department heads and SME’s to create customized training solutions that meet specific business needs.
• Goal Setting and Evaluation: Set OD goals and KPIs and measure effectiveness. Deliver research, analysis and best practice to ensure that OD initiatives are appropriately integrated and aligned with strategic and business goals.
• Training and Workshops: Assess organizational training needs and design comprehensive learning and development programs to address skills gaps and enhance employee performance. Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and seminars in areas such as leadership, communication, team building, and employee engagement. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, assessments, and performance metrics, and make adjustments as necessary.
• Oversee the development of e-learning platforms and blended learning strategies to ensure accessible and effective training delivery.
• Internal Communication: Develop and manage internal communications strategies to ensure consistent, clear, and timely communication across the organization. Create and maintain internal communication channels such as newsletters, intranet content, and internal announcements to keep employees informed and engaged.
• Leadership Communication: Collaborate with leadership to craft and communicate key messages that support strategic goals, ensure alignment with company values, and foster open communication across teams to promote transparency, collaboration, and a positive work environment.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of specialized experience in OD, with proven record in designing and executing successful OD programs.
• Able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of theory and good practice in key areas including change management, developing organizational culture and L&D.
• Highly skilled in presentations, communications, and interpersonal skills
• Curious, fast learner with attention to details.
• Strong in project management, able to work with multiple stakeholders at a fast pace
• Data-driven: ability to use data to design and measure enablement.
• Strong knowledge of training methodologies and best practices in adult learning.
• Experience with HR/OD systems like Engagement Survey/feedback platforms, feedback systems, LMS.
• Fluent English (verbal and written).
• Bachelor’s degree in Organisational Development or a related field - advantage
