Role Overview

As a Front-End Developer, you’ll play a vital role in creating seamless, user-friendly interfaces for a platform that supports engineering teams globally. Working closely with product and engineering teams, you’ll design and build responsive, visually engaging applications. This role is ideal for a creative problem solver who’s ready to dive into a dynamic startup atmosphere and tackle challenges with agility and ingenuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Front-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain intuitive and performant front-end applications.
• UI/UX Design: Collaborate with product managers and designers to craft visually appealing and easy-to-navigate interfaces.
• Adaptation for Enterprise SaaS: Work with open-source frameworks and adapt them to enhance our enterprise-grade SaaS products.
• Cross-Functional Teamwork: Partner with full-stack and back-end engineers to ensure that designs are fully compatible with back-end structures and development standards.
• Problem Solving & Innovation: Engage in creative problem-solving within a fast-paced startup environment, contributing fresh ideas to optimize processes.
• User-Centered Approach: Continuously refine the user experience by leveraging an understanding of user behaviors and design best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Front-End Languages & Frameworks: Advanced skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with experience in frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
• UI/UX Tools: Hands-on experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD to translate requirements into user-friendly layouts.
• Open Source and SaaS Knowledge: Experience working with open-source frameworks and adapting them to suit enterprise SaaS applications.
• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work alongside full-stack and back-end developers to align on design and functionality.
• Responsive Design: Skilled in creating adaptive and responsive designs that ensure a consistent experience across devices.
• Code Management: Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Dev 1st Mindset: Enterprise SaaS Background: Experience with scalable developer-focused SaaS applications is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• Startup Experience: Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with regular brainstorming and rapid iteration.
• Testing Frameworks: Knowledge of testing tools such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
• Creative Problem Solver: Demonstrates resourcefulness and a proactive approach to overcoming technical challenges.
