Software Engineering Team Lead

A startup in the identity and asset management field is developing a scalable cloud-based SaaS platform for automatic identity and permissions management for enterprise organizations with multiple systems.

The company is valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars and is experiencing significant growth, with many paying global clients in Israel, Europe, and the United States. They have raised over $100 million and continue to expand their customer base.

The company operates in a hybrid model and has 85 employees globally, with 65 based in Israel. Their offices are located in Tel Aviv, near a train station (Alon Towers).

Founded by well-known and leading industry entrepreneurs, the company raised over $100 million in funding from top venture capital firms in 2022.

Role Overview:

• Manage a development team of 2 backend developers working in GO.
• 60%-70% hands-on development.
• Work in a cloud environment (AWS and GCP).
• Coding in GO, working with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, API, ArgoCD, PostgreSQL, and Microservices.
• Reporting to the Backend Group Manager.

Requirements-

• Master/bachelor’s degree in computer engineering
• 3 years of experience in team management based on Go solutions - team lead, squad lead, scrum master
• Ability to write and perform architecture documents following best practices
• Ability to write and perform code review with high-performance, maintainable, reusable code in Java and Go
• Proficient with Unix/Linux environment.
• Experience of more than 5 years with PostgreSQL.
• Experience of more than 5 years with Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, API gateways, and service mesh
• Knowledge of End-2-End CI/CD process from Git, ArgoCD to production
• Knowledge of Cloud systems: AWS, GCP, Azure
