We are looking for a Data Analyst for a full-time, on-site position

Key Responsibilities:

◦ Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.

◦ Analyze complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and present them in an easily understandable format.

◦ Write complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from various sources.

◦ Perform ad-hoc analysis tasks using Python and Visual Studio.

◦ Provide regular updates to management on project statuses, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.

◦ Analyze development and product performance to offer insights for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

Strategic Planning:

◦ Participate in the strategic planning of BI initiatives, aligning them with business goals and objectives.

◦ Develop and implement best practices for data analysis and reporting.

• Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

◦ Work closely with department heads to understand their data needs and deliver tailored BI solutions.

◦ Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding.

Technical Expertise:

◦ Utilize advanced features of Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

◦ Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency.

◦ Understand the development life cycle and work with development teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Release Management and Quality Assurance:

◦ Ensure that BI solutions meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

◦ Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the development and deployment of BI reports.

Requirements:

Requirements:

◦ At least 4 years in a similar role, with proven experience in writing complex SQL queries and managing databases.

Technical Skills:

◦ Proficiency in Power BI, including advanced reports and dashboards.

◦ Extensive knowledge in SQL: querying, creation, modification, procedures, triggers, etc. (Preference for MSSQL, also experience with Postgres, BigQuery, and MySQL).

◦ Knowledge in data modeling.

◦ Work experience with DWH environments.

◦ Experience with Python and Visual Studio.

◦ Significant advantage: DBA background

◦ Advantage: Experience with Airflow or similar Python-based workflow management tools.

◦ Advantage: Experience with Firebase and Google Analytics for data analysis and reporting.

◦ Advantage: Ability to develop machine learning tools.

◦ Ability to learn and implement new technologies.

◦ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

◦ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

◦ Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

Education:

◦ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.

Additional Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tool
