Company Overview: Our client, an open source, in-memory data store empowers organizations to deliver faster, more reliable applications to their customers at a fraction of the cost. They have a cutting-edge cloud-based in-memory data store, which offers 25X the performance at 80% lower costs compared to legacy solutions like Redis and looking for a founding SDR to help growth initiatives!
Role Overview: As a Sales Development Representative, this person will play a crucial role in developing new sales opportunities, managing incoming sales inquiries, and supporting the client's growth initiatives. Operating as part of a product-led SaaS company, this position is integral to the expanding go-to-market team. The Sales Development Representative will be focused, creative, and relentless in pursuing new customer opportunities for the client. This will be a 50/50 split inbound vs outbound targeting EUR and India territories. Availability will need to be flexible, but likely 7/8a-5p ET. As the first Sales Development Representative on the team, there is a significant opportunity for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with product leads to assist and qualify them.
- Qualify inbound demo and free trial requests.
- Identify and qualify large sales opportunities, working with other stakeholders within the organization to schedule meetings.
- Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual booking objectives.
- Close deals with small and medium-sized opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of proven experience in a SaaS sales role, ideally with a product-led motion and a technical product.
- Experience using HubSpot to manage sales pipelines and related workflows.
- Ability to communicate the business value of complex cloud technologies, particularly with technical customers.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with enterprise customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Passionate about growing a career in the data space.
