About the Position:
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. The SDR will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to create a pipeline of high-quality leads and schedule meetings for our sales executives.
The Sales Development team is the first interaction with prospective BIScience customers and is key to the success of BIScience.
What You'll Do:
Research and identify potential customers through various channels such as LinkedIn, email campaigns, and other digital tools to generate a sustainable pipeline.
Execute outbound sales strategies, including cold calling, personalized email outreach, and multi-channel engagement with prospects.
Develop and implement innovative strategies to boost engagement and create new business opportunities.
Assess and understand the needs of potential customers to determine if they are a good fit for our products/services.
Track all activity and interactions with prospects in the CRM system to ensure accurate records of sales progress.
Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (key performance indicators) such as the number of calls, emails, and qualified meetings booked.
What We're Looking For:
2+ years experience in a similar sales or business development role, preferably in B2B environments.
Experience at a high growth tech company that sells into the mid-market and enterprise
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong research and problem-solving skills.
Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
Creativity, self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
