Position: Head of Sales Department
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute the B2B and SaaS sales strategy to grow the client base and revenue for All Funeral Services LLC.
- Identify key business opportunities in the funeral services industry, including partnerships with funeral homes, hospitals, and care facilities.
- Set sales targets, performance metrics, and KPIs for the sales team to achieve consistent revenue growth.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure sales strategies align with the company’s overall business objectives.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and manage the sales department, including recruiting, training, and mentoring sales professionals.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to ensure the sales team meets or exceeds targets.
- Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Pipeline Management and Sales Growth:
- Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring proper lead generation, nurturing, and conversion processes are in place.
- Use CRM tools to track sales performance, pipeline activity, and deal progression.
- Ensure the team follows a structured sales process, from prospecting to closing, with a focus on long-term relationship-building and client satisfaction.
Enterprise Client Acquisition:
- Develop and manage relationships with key enterprise clients, ensuring personalized attention and excellent service delivery.
- Lead negotiations and high-level client meetings to close large-scale deals with funeral homes, insurance companies, and other partners.
- Work closely with the business development team to create tailored SaaS solutions for corporate clients, including pre-need planning software and digital memorial platforms.
Product and Service Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure SaaS offerings meet market demands and client requirements.
- Provide feedback to the product team based on client interactions and industry trends to guide product enhancements and innovations.
- Work with the marketing team to align sales efforts with campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements in the funeral services and SaaS sectors.
- Conduct market research to identify potential client needs, areas of service improvement, and new business opportunities.
- Develop competitive strategies to position All Funeral Services LLC as a market leader in funeral services SaaS solutions.
Revenue Forecasting and Reporting:
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management.
- Analyze sales data to track progress towards goals, identify potential challenges, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Present sales performance updates to the executive team, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
Customer Experience and Retention:
- Ensure the sales team delivers a high-quality customer experience from initial contact through ongoing account management.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving client retention and maximizing lifetime value for SaaS clients.
- Address escalated client concerns and resolve any issues to maintain strong, long-term relationships.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 3-5 years in SaaS sales.
- Proven track record of leading and scaling sales teams to achieve revenue targets.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on mentorship and performance.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
