Team/Tech Lead (Node.JS)

Our client specializes in creating and managing advanced transport management systems that optimize logistics and streamline operations for efficient transportation solutions.

What you will do:

🔹 Take full responsibility for a comprehensive platform, including both front-end and back-end development, and cloud infrastructure on a scaled system using AWS EC2 instances;

🔹 Manage and scale numerous components with PM2 across AWS, ensuring the seamless operation of the platform's server-side, which supports a wide range of user interfaces across desktops, mobile applications, and scanner devices;

🔹 Manage numerous integrations with third-party services, and oversee complex asynchronous logic triggered by events, scheduled tasks, or on-demand operations;

🔹 Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance Node.js applications;

🔹 Make architectural decisions and guide the technical direction of projects;

🔹 Review code, mentor developers, and ensure best practices are followed;

🔹 Actively participate in the coding process, developing features, fixing bugs, and optimizing performance;

🔹 Work closely with front-end and back-end developers, DevOps, and other team members to integrate systems and ensure smooth operation;

🔹 Manage and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment;

🔹 Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve team performance;

🔹 Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.

Key Requirements:

🔹 Previous experience in a tech lead or team lead role is a must;

🔹 Extensive experience in Node.js and JavaScript;

🔹 Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, monolithic and microservices architectures, and cloud services (AWS, etc.);

🔹 Proficiency in database technologies (PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.);

🔹 Experience with Linux environments and DevOps practices;

🔹 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;

🔹 Strong communication and leadership skills;

🔹 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities;

🔹 A collaborative and proactive mindset;

🔹 English – Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Will be plus:

🔹 Experience with server-end frameworks (e.g., Koa);

🔹 Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Ext JS, Vue.js).
