Human Resources Director

we are seeking for one of our clients, a multi-disciplinary tech startup located in the Jerusalem area

a Director of HR

In this position, you will report directly to the CEO. You will be responsible for all major HR functions,

including ensuring compliance with all basic HR laws and regulations, facilitating greater

communication and collaboration among team members, and working with the CEO to devise

and implement a recruitment strategy for structuring the organization in a way that helps further

the company objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all areas of employee relations, including compensation & benefits, staying up-

to-date on HR laws and regulations and ensuring company compliance, and managing a

system for performance assessment.

• Exhibit high emotional IQ in dealing with different personalities, in improving internal

communication, and in actively fostering an environment of collaboration and teamwork.

• Advance the development of a productive, honest, exciting, and enjoyable work

environment.

• Work closely with the CEO to develop and implement a comprehensive hiring and

termination strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives, by

identifying needs, building an effective company org chart, and ensuring that we have the

right people in the right positions.

• Collaborate with company managers to identify and address talent needs across the

organization.

• Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and other senior management on all HR matters,

including sensitive HR issues that may arise.

• Manage the entire recruitment process, including: finding suitable candidates, running the

interview process, onboarding, training and development,

• Lead the company's welfare efforts by organizing events, happy hours, holiday gifts,

company activities, and marking personal milestones such as birthdays, family life-cycle

events, etc.

• Manage the HR budget and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels and serve as a

comfortable and welcoming address for them to share feedback and/or concerns.

• Able and willing to act directly in a hands-on, roll up your sleeves manner, in order to

execute these responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a

related field (Master's degree preferred).

• 10+ years of experience in an HR leadership role.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills! Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
• 3-4 days per week onsite at our Jerusalem office.
