The Robotics Lab at the School of Mechanical Engineering at Tel Aviv University is seeking a highly motivated and talented Ph.D. student to join our team!

This exciting Ph.D. project sits at the crossroads of robotics and machine learning, with a focus on manipulating elastic objects using haptic technology.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct research on innovative methods for robotic manipulation of elastic objects.
• Develop and implement machine learning algorithms to improve robot dexterity and control.
• Integrate haptic feedback into robotic manipulation tasks.
• Contribute to the publication of research findings in prestigious journals.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree (MSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Prior experience in robotics or machine learning is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python and C++.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A passion for robotics and a desire to push the boundaries of technology.
