The Test Engineer Role

Join our dynamic team in Israel, where we're dedicated to developing high-quality microservices and micro frontend services for Qlik Cloud Data Integration. As a Test Developer, you'll collaborate closely with developers and test engineers to ensure the quality of our feature deliveries.

Here’s How You’ll Be Making An Impact

• Requirements Investigation: Assess how new requirements and features integrate into our test suites.
• Test Case Implementation: Develop new test cases at integration and component levels as necessary.
• Test Planning: Create and execute comprehensive test plans.
• Contribution to Test Strategy: Play a role in shaping our test strategy for ongoing improvement.
• Environment Monitoring: Monitor test environments, investigating failures and performance issues.
• Collaborative Approach: Work closely with team members, architects, developers, and stakeholders.
• Quality Advocacy: Contribute actively to the future of quality and testing at Qlik by participating in our developer community.
  
  

We’re Looking For a Teammate With

• 5+ years of experience working with software testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent system analysis skills.
• Strong technology background and understanding of different architectures.
• Proven ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, iterative product definition and development environment.
• Fast learner with an ability to pick up new ideas and approaches.
• Ability to communicate and express thoughts and ideas in a group.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to react quickly to changing requirements due to product limitations or enterprise needs.
• Windows/Linux knowledge.
• Fluency in English.
  
  

Bonus Skills

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field.
• SQL language, database systems.
• Experience in Test automation, API testing, and performance testing.
• Basic JavaScript knowledge.
• Understanding of a microservice architecture.
  
  

The location for this role is:

Kfar Saba or Haifa, Israel (not a remote position)
