One of the key roles for our success is your role - Field Service Engineer.

We are looking for an electrical and/or mechanical engineer with experience in large transportation systems.

In this position you will be responsible for engineering at the depot, and in front of the Ministry of Transport and the Israel Railways. Realizes the functional concept of systems in a project by technical detailed solutions.

You’ll make an impact by:

• As an expert in the maintenance development function, you are a team member with joint responsibility for the safe operating condition of the assigned railroad vehicles and ensure fleet availability.
• You act as a competent contact person for technical queries and responsible for technical decisions and the search for solutions for both the fleet management function and the maintenance provision function.
• You will work in a network together with the manufacturers, rail transport companies, vehicle owners, internal and external experts.
• You will consider, evaluate and manage technical modifications to vehicles and approve them for implementation in consultation.
• You will create specifications for field experiences and evaluate them independently, initiate analyses to improve maintenance and thus help to drive forward the further development of maintenance for each vehicle fleet.
• You will be involved in all maintenance-relevant processes across disciplines within the organization and independently create maintenance instructions or adapt and further develop operator maintenance programs
• You will help to process and evaluate field data (e.g. mileage of components) from rail vehicles in order to draw conclusions about fleet availability
• Implement best practices in incident, problem, change and release management to ensure the smooth provision of services
• Work closely with Development and Customer Areas to understand customer requirements and ensure services meet technical specifications.
• Develop appropriate metrics to measure service performance and quality, identify areas for improvement and continuously develop measures to optimize service processes

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.

Experience in the field of transportation -Advantage.

English at a high level - German is an advantage.
