About the Role:
Are you a driven individual with a passion for sales and technology? Do you have the ability to stand out and make an impact? If you are eager to learn, succeed, and contribute to a high-energy team, we want to hear from you! We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Go-To-Market (GTM) team. The SDR will play a critical role in generating leads and building a strong pipeline for our sales team. You will be responsible for initiating contact with potential customers, following up on marketing leads, and moving prospects through the discovery phases.
A successful SDR at Opus Security is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, organized, and comfortable engaging with security experts and decision-makers.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new customer introduction calls for the field sales team through proactive outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social networking.
- Master and deliver the Opus Security value proposition and key differentiators.
- Accurately log, track, and maintain records in HubSpot.
- Establish, develop, and grow new business relationships with influential contacts.
- Understand an organization’s business drivers, challenges, and pain points.
- Collaborate with inside and field sales teams to optimize strategic sales approaches and devise effective territory plans.
- Follow a clear and defined qualification process.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English.
- 2+ years of experience in a sales development or lead generation role, preferably within the cybersecurity or SaaS industry.
- Experience in Cybersecurity software – a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in SDR sales tools such as Apollo, Lusha, Sales Navigator, Outreach, Salesloft, and other sales enablement tools.
- Proven track record of generating your own leads.
- Exceptional written communication, phone, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment.
- Drive to succeed with a proven ability to be resilient and overcome challenges.
- Energy, hustle, persistence, and grit.
Compensation:
Opus Security offers a competitive compensation package comprising a base salary and performance-based bonuses. Compensation targets are set based on lead generation, qualification, and successful transition to the sales team.
