The Vice President of Engineering will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day activities of our engineering teams. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of engineering principles and a proven track record of delivering high-quality products on time. The VP of Engineering will work in close partnership with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to translate the company’s technology vision into actionable engineering plans and projects, ensuring alignment with the overall technological goals and priorities. This role also involves collaborating closely with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and continuous improvement of engineering processes and standards.

📣 What you’ll be doing

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and performance.
• Coordinate cross-functional team efforts to achieve project goals.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.
• Implement and enforce engineering processes, best practices, and standards.
• Ensure product quality, performance, and scalability through rigorous testing and validation.
• Work closely with other departments (e.g., Product, Design, Marketing) to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
• Contribute to the development of the company’s technology strategy and roadmap.
• Collaborate with the executive team to identify and address technical challenges and opportunities.
• Work in close partnership with the CTO to develop and implement the long-term technology strategy and roadmap.
• Manage engineering resources, and timelines effectively.
• Monitor and improve engineering efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement tools and practices to enhance team productivity and project tracking.

💥 You’ll be a great fit if 

• You have proven experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• You have a proven track record of managing and delivering complex engineering projects.
• You have a strong technical background with expertise in python, Go and complex data environments.
• You have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. You’re able to guide and inspire diverse teams towards achieving ambitious technical goals.
• You are able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• You have relevant experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
