Frontend Developer

An innovative startup in the IoT sector has developed a solution for the shipping industry that provides real-time information about packages and their locations. The company has created a smart, completely flat sticker containing batteries, temperature sensors, GPS, a SaaS cloud component, and more, which is affixed to packages during shipping.

Located in the Sharon area near the train line, the company allows employees to work from home two days a week. They have about 28 employees in total, with approximately 21 in Israel, most of whom are in R&D.

Their target market is in Europe and the USA, with most customers being large, paying supply chain companies.

The company has completed a Series A round, raising $22 million so far. They are stable and profitable with numerous and diverse investors. The company offers excellent conditions and stock options, with plans to double their size by the end of the year

About the role

• Lead the design and implementation of the frontend architecture.

• Ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices.

• Working with a great team of people who are passionate about technology.

• Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of learning.

• Manage project timelines and deliverables for the frontend team.

• Join discussions and brainstorming with Product and UX designer to define the UX/UI to best suit users’ requirements.

• Technological Stack- ReactJS, TypeScript with NextJS, Python, ReactJS, TypeScript, IoT, Linux, CI/CD, Jenkins.

Requirements

• 5 years of industry experience in frontend application development and strong hands-on experience in React over Typescript.

• Knowledge and experience with building a new product from scratch.

• Passion for new technologies, familiarity with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud space.

• Experience with API design.
