Software Engineering Team Lead

A startup developing an innovative data infrastructure for the online social gaming industry is seeking new team members. The company creates a data infrastructure that integrates with game APIs (non-gambling) and is unique in Israel for its business model that allows players to win valuable prizes (such as vacations, iPhones, etc.) in every game without payment.

After receiving regulatory approvals, they launched the product in the US, where it has seen great success, leading to expectations of significant growth.

The founders are experienced technologists who have sold companies in the past and specialize in the global gaming industry.

The company is located in Tel Aviv near a train station, has 35 employees, most of whom are in R&D. They have raised a significant amount of funding from leading companies and a major industry fund.

Responsibilities:

• Guide and inspire the team to deliverables and add new features, using React and Node.js to craft seamless and visually stunning gaming experiences.

• Set and uphold rigorous standards and best practices.

• Drive the team toward success by delivering high quality features.

• Conduct thorough testing of all developments.

• Work collaboratively with the QA team to quickly identify and resolve any issues.

• Collaborate with data, design and product teams to develop, refine, and enhance user interfaces, animations, and interactive features, ensuring a cohesive and immersive user experience.

Requirements:

• 7 years of hands-on full stack development experience, with a strong proficiency using React and Node.js.

• 2 years in a leadership role within an engineering team, proven ability to manage and mentor effectively set high standards and cross functional collaboration such as product, design, data and other engineering groups.

• Experience using databases: PostgreSQL and Redis

• Proficient in managing services across AWS and/or GCP.
