Quality Assurance Engineer

The Medisafe team includes over 75 team members, across two global locations – Israel and the US. We are currently looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our experienced and talented team.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Quality Assurance engineer to take a role in test planning, test design and UI, test scripting, and test execution, on Mobile (Android & iOS) and, mostly on the Server side. This will also include ensuring that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved and ensure proper test coverage.

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression tests when bugs are resolved
• Ensure the quality of new features before and after they go live 
• Improve the development process of our products 
  

Experience:

• Familiarity with QA methodologies - Planning, design, execution and reporting
• 1-2 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer in a start-up company
• Experience with SQL and relational DBs, e.g. MySQL - Advantage
• Experience with CI tools, e.g. Jenkins - Advantage
• Experience working with DevOps teams - Advantage

Skills & Qualifications:

• Information Systems / CS degree or equivalent experience from IDF tech unit
• Detail-oriented with an ability to see the bigger picture 
• Initiator, enthusiastic, creative, curious, highly motivated individual
• Multitask person who handles various priorities at the same time 
• Ability to deep dive into complex problems and find their root cause 
• Passionate about technology and have some experience with coding
• Self-learning capabilities - It's really the most important thing!
