Program Manager for Aliyah Prep at Gvahim
Gvahim is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting new immigrants to Israel. Our expertise lies in assisting newcomers from diverse backgrounds with their career and employment needs. We are committed to providing comprehensive support to ensure a smooth and successful integration into Israeli society.
The Alyah Prep program aims to encourage individuals abroad to immigrate to Israel by offering personalized 1:1 orientation in preparation for their move. The program covers various domains, including employment, housing, education, and financial management, and provides support in multiple languages.
Position Summary
We seek a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead the Alyah Prep program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Employment services or Alyah and be fluent in English and Hebrew at a mother-tongue level. The Program Manager will define strategy, set KPIs, maintain relationships with partners, and evaluate participant satisfaction.
This hybrid position requires work from our Raanana offices three times a week and remotely twice a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the strategic plan for the Alyah Prep program.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the program's success and impact.
- Establish strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and community organizations.
- Coordinate and oversee the delivery of 1:1 orientation sessions in various domains such as employment, housing, education, and financial management.
- Evaluate participant satisfaction and program effectiveness through regular feedback and assessments.
- Provide guidance and support to program participants, ensuring their needs are met and their concerns are addressed.
- Manage program budgets, resources, and reporting requirements.
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in immigration, employment, and integration services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, human resources, public administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in program management, preferably in employment services or immigration.
- Demonstrated ability to define strategy, set KPIs, and achieve program goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Fluent in English and Hebrew at a mother-tongue level; additional languages are an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Israeli employment market, housing, education, and financial management systems.
- Passion for supporting new immigrants and contributing to their successful integration into Israeli society.
Hybrid Working model: Three days a week in our Raanana offices, two days remote.
