Fraud Analyst

We are looking for a Fraud Analyst to join our Security team . The Fraud Analyst will play a crucial role in identifying, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activities that may affect our platform and clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fraud analytics, with a preference for experience in the ad tech sector. This role requires a keen analytical mind, attention to detail, and the ability to use data to tell a story.

A day in the life

• Conduct in-depth analysis of data to identify and assess potential fraudulent activities.
• Develop and implement fraud detection strategies and models using SQL, Python, and other analytical tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and integrate fraud prevention practices.
• Monitor and analyze patterns and trends to proactively identify potential fraud risks.
• Generate regular reports on fraud activities, findings, and the status of ongoing investigations.
• Recommend enhancements to internal controls, policies, and procedures to minimize fraud risk.
• Stay abreast of the latest fraud trends and threats, as well as advancements in fraud detection technologies.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Data/Business Analyst.
• Experience in the ad tech industry is an advantage.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
