Role Overview 

Modex's product team drives innovation and optimizes our offerings. As a Product Data Analyst, you will shape processes, collaborate across teams, and scale our analytics. You will leverage your analytical mind and curiosity to delve into product data, providing insights for strategic decisions. Thriving in dynamic environments, you will deliver high-quality work, collaborating and working independently. Head of Product and involves frequent interactions and exposure to Modex's executive leadership team. 

Key Responsibilities: 

· Convert Business Needs into trackable outcomes: Help teams convert business and user goals into well-defined KPIs. 

· Perform market research and competitor analysis to inform product strategy. 

· Insights & Measuring Impact: Provide insights on product performance attributing the impact for our users utilising a variety of techniques - experiments, causal inference, bespoke self-serve explores, pre-built dashboards and exploratory analysis. 

· Discover: Go deep on areas of risk or opportunity providing valuable context and helping to validate decisions. 

· Lead implementation of product data standards: Work with engineers to help build and maintain a reliable analytics code base. Ensure the product is instrumented with the ‘right’ data to analyse performance. 

· work with cross-functional product teams partnering with PMs to develop rigorous insights to inform prioritisation and planning of the product strategy. 

· Be customer-first, revealing the customer voice through data, wherever decisions are being made, whether it’s participating in product refinements, working with our marketing experts or presenting to our executive team. 

· Be the evangelist for a data-driven, test and learn approach to product development. Apply your scientific skills to identify problems, generate hypotheses, and conduct experiments and analyses to validate the hypotheses. 

· Be comfortable with uncertainty and supporting your team to discover and optimise the user journey through analytics and insights. 

· Have an applied understanding of descriptive and predictive analytical concepts. Be able to implement core data-driven frameworks like customer segmentation and user personas. 

· Run statistically rigorous experiments. 

What you bring: 

· 2+ years of experience as a Product Data Analyst or similar role. 

· Strong SQL - BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift. 

· Experienced with user event tracking tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, google analytics. 

· Proficiency in data visualisation/BI tooling e.g. Looker, Tableau, PowerBI. 

· Familiarity with blockchain analytical tools such as dune
